We knew we had to start the 2015 tour off right. We debated going to another city in January but the demand for West Palm Beach was just too much! As soon as doors opened, lines formed, and crowds of sneakerheads packed the Palm Beach Convention Center for yet another great show.
Hundreds of fans came out to buy, sell and trade with over 50 vendors who filled the room. Whether you were looking for Jordan’s, Air Mags, Reeboks, Yeezy’s, Custom Socks, or Custom kicks, our Vendors had everything to offer.
What’s SoleFest without a raffle or giveaway? All day fans had a chance to win SoleFest T-Shirts and other prizes. The Edition Boutique came and donated a pair of “Way of Wades” which were raffled off before the the VIP and main raffle! 50 VIP ticket holders had the opportunity to win the Nike SB “Northern Lights” Dunks, while everyone in the room had another chance to get their hands on the Jordan Retro VI “Infrareds” by entering the main raffle!
Did we mention the SoleFest Sneaker Brackett and Best Vendor Display?
It was close but the fans spoke! The Jordan 13 “Chutney” Lows from 1998 beat out the Nike Air Mags, Jordan Space Jams, and LeBron Sprites to become our SoleFest Sneaker Bracket Champion! There’s a reason we choose to spotlight the best vendor display. For one, to encourage our vendors to bring nothing but the best but also to acknowledge the diversity of vendors at our shows. This weekend, Pete Koh, the sneaker artist, won Best Vendor Display of SoleFest West Palm Beach! Besides creating masterpieces during the show, his table looked more like an art display rather than a vendor section. With sneaker pieces spread across his table and rotating painted sneakers galore, Pete Koh, was definitely the fan favorite at SoleFest West Palm!
We had a great time in West Palm Beach and can’t wait to return! A very special thanks to our vendors including Sneaker Union, The Edition Boutique, EZ Kicks, Players of Palm Beach, Dendoe, and everyone else that was in attendance! If you missed out in West Palm Beach, you can catch us in Orlando on February 7th.
